1250L Drop Bottom Bin

Manufactured in the UK at our own facility the 1250 Litre Drop Bottom Bin is the general purpose size for use in industrial areas and construction sites. It is constructed from a 3mm steel body and 4mm steel base and a sturdy box section frame. All of our drop bottom bins are fitted with feet as standard. Castors are an optional extra.

Waste is released by lifting the bin with a forklift truck above where the waste is to be emptied. Then lower the unit down gently to the waste receptacle. On contact the automatic release catch system allows the bottom of the bin to drop open. As the operator gently raises the bin further all of the waste will be discharged.

The unit is then locked closed by lowering the bin to the floor where the drop bottom will return to a closed position and the catch will lock into place.
